Knights News · Going Gold with Cal’s Angels on Friday!

WE ARE GOING GOLD DURING THE MONTH OF
SEPTEMBER FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER AWARENESS!
Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer and each year, over
40,000 children are treated for cancer. No child should ever have to fight
cancer, they should be enjoying their childhood! To help bring an end to
pediatric cancer, Kaneland High School is going GOLD with Cal’s
Angels to raise awareness for pediatric cancer and the gold ribbon.
Cal’s Angels is a local pediatric cancer charity with a mission of granting
wishes, raising awareness and funding research to help kids fighting
cancer, right here in Chicago.

Our goal is to turn KHS GOLD during September. If you
attend an athletic event during September, you will see gold accessories on
our athletes that were provided by Cal’s Angels. We will also be selling tshirts
for $10 during lunch hours on Wednesday and Thursday to wear to our Gold
Out Football Game vs. Geneva on 8/31.
We are excited to partner with our friends at Cal’s Angels who support kids
in our community as they fight cancer. Join the fight and go gold!
